Default Gains Stock Engine

What would a tune on a totaly stock engine due for me as far as hp/tq gains range, and how badly CAN it hurt gas mileage? Also how much have you all paid for tunes?

I have a chance to get my car tuned by the one of most respected guys in East KS that tunes LSx and LTx. He will tune it for me for under $100 bucks. I have no idea if this is cheap or expensive or what. Thanks for any input.

If you plan on leaving it stock the at that price definantly go ahead and get the tune. If you plan on modding it in the near future I would just wait and tune after the mods. Just my opinion though.

can pickup approximately 10 and 10 from stock form on a dyno, wouldn't hurt gas mileage, more likely to improve considering that factory parameters run the car a bit rich at WOT
