Default Basic Tune or Dyno Tune, that is the question.

I'm going the be having my car tuned in the spring. Can't decied whether to do just a basic tune or a Dyno Tune.

My car is going to have SLP Lid, Ported TB, LS6 Intake, Pacesetter LT's, 3400 Stall W/ lockup, 3.73 gear (changing from 2.73)

Is it worth it to Dyno tune??

if you're looking to get all aspects tuned to your liking, you'd be better off getting your own tuning software and renting a dyno. Check the stickies

Sounds like a marketing tool-----Well mister, I can do a 'basic tune' and tune just the right bank, or we can go for a 'full tune' and tune all 8 cylinders.

But wait there's more.

How about.......Selling tuning in stages like the head and clutch guys do? Well bub, I'd like to get your stage IV tune, and be sure to use the stage III lubricant before you stick it to me. LOL I kill me

My opinion. Buy some tuning software and learn to tune your own car. Its way better that way and it isnt very difficult to do, especially when you have this site to use and ask questions at.

It looks like the basic tune from them is just a no horsepower change tune, they change the basics just like they say. Then the Dyno tune is fuel/air changes It is pretty self expanitory on thier sheet.

I have a couple of EFILive commercial versions in stock still for $549 and come with any tune you ask for.
