Electrical woes - Pulling my hair out! I have recently done a 00 Z28 A4 motor/ tranny/ engine harness
/ pcm swap into a 98 Z28 A4 car. The motor spins over and only fires on one cylinder and then continues to spin. Also, when i turn the headlights on, i get tail lights but no headlights and it acts like the ignition is on. Everything comes on but the fuel pump. I used the engine harness out of the 00 A4 car and used the body harness that was already in the 98 A4. The steering column and key are from the 98 A4 car so im kinda thinking that something may be up with the VATS system since im using the 00 PCM.
Is there something im missing or will the 00 engine harness not work with the 98 body harness?
Btw, the fuel pump will energize when i turn the key on.
