Default trans codes = limp mode???

Hey i have a 99 ls1 installed in my 1987 trans am and i am wondering if the pcm is in limp mode. It is a 99 ls1 a4 computer and harness. I scanned the car and i am throwing all of the trans codes, becasue it is an a4 computer with my th400 and some others like rear o2's and evap, egr ect...

Would these codes be throwing the car into limp mode and what does limp mode actually do to the motor? Pull out timing and fuel?

I am pretty sure that the car is in limp mode beacuse i went to the track last sunday and only ran 12.60's at 106 w/1.8 60fts.

It is a Ls1 /ms3 cam, longtubes with true duals, full bolt on's w/electric water pump and drag race alternator. It is backed by a th400 w/5500 stall and trans brake with a ford 9" w/ 4.11's. Race weight is 3300 w/ me. I know the car should be alot fast than 12.60-12.80's. It was extremely lazy, like it only had 60% power. I mean 1.8 60's dead hooking off a trans brake means that there is something wrong.

Any help and insight would be very much appreciated. I am hoping that it is just in limp mode and if i delete the codes then it will run right. Thanks, Tim
