Tuning for F.I.
Hey, I plan on getting a turbo setup eventually and i know that will require alot of tuning and i would like to learn how to do it myself. Is there anywhere that i can learn how to tune or any programs that can teach someone to tune? Thanks

look on HPTuners.com or EFI LIVE.com
ask questions once you get your software choice, whether hptuners or efi live
asking questions before is quite pointless. it is very easy to learn the tuning process/how to tune. as long as you know how to get around some of the bs that people sometimes say.
you will need to buy the tuning software and a wideband. YOU WILL NEED A WIDEBAND. i can not stress that enough

if your going FI I would definitly seriously look at hptuners...they are the only tuning software company to offer a 2 bar solution for 98's with their 2 bar SD custom Operating system.

You will get varying opinions on this, I'm sure. My first reaction to your post is this, for a turbo application I would first take it to an experienced, respected dyno tuner to at least get it dialed in for wide open throttle and roughed in for idle and cruise. Then you could go from their, which will keep you plenty busy learning the software and then tuning. That experiance is very valuable in case there are problems, such as misfires or knock, and to keep your untuned engine running to a minimum. If this were not a boost application I would say, "go for it" but be prepared for spending a lot of time and money getting thru that learning curve.
