Default After Long Tube & True Dual Install

Well after the install i drove the car around and when i at a light or stop sign, i idle stays at about 1600-1900rpm. after driving on the highway or just driving for awhile, and then stop at a light or sign, the idle could be anywhere from 1800-2200rpm. Idle at startup is normal. SES light turned on so i pulled the codes:
PO174
PO171
PO140
PO160
PO507
I did a search and found that 2 codes are from the rear 02 sensors(i already knew this), PO507 meant that the idle control system was high, and the other 2 meant that both banks were running lean. i suspect that there is a leak somewhere in the intake system but not sure. has anyone ever heard/seen this problem or have any suggestions?

The lean condition sounds like an exhuast leak. Have you tightened the header bolts after the first few heat cycles? What method of sealing up the exhuast parts did you employ? Clamps, welds, etc? Short of something being uplugged, I would think that you have some melted wires somewhere that is causing the high idle. More details, pics=more help

yes i do smell some fuel, are you suggesting there is a leak at the headers/manifold or after that. i cant hear a leak, although i'm just trying to listen for a popping sound. also i have not yet retightened the header bolts. i'll check for melted wires. below is a link to a pic of my setup before installed. everything is welded except for where it connects to the headers

well, just got back from the shop. i retightened my header bolts as well as the rest of the exhaust. i also searched for some fried/melted wires and found nothing. on the way home, it was still idleing high.

Nah I was getting at the fact that if it's an air-leak, it's a perceived lean situation and the PCM's response is throwing a bunch of fuel at it.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. You need to check all of your hoses and lines under the hood. Unmetered air entering the intake will cause a high idle and lean condition. If you didn't have a high idle, then I'd say look to the exhaust for leaks.

I remember someone talking about spaying carb cleaner around in my engine bay. can someone explain this to me? apparently it will help me find some possible intake leaks.

OK, went back to the shop today. i figured since i checked all the exhaust yesturday, i would check the intake today. first i took off the lid, maf and bellow. for some reason i i was opening & closing the throttle blade and notice something odd inside the manifold/throttle body. it was the damn rubber/gasket thingy for the EGR. apparently, when i slid the EGR pipe into the mani, i pushed the rubber gasket down too far. im surprized the thing didn't get sucked all the way in. so i fixed that and now the idle is fine.
thanks everyone for your help.
