Default extra injectors or FMU with HPtuners???

hey yall im either gonna be getting the MAFTpro unit or hptuners as my next mods- i like the MAFTpro because it is a datalogger and has a/f ratio tracking.

i have the stock 4.3L injection system so i cant upgrade injectors without going full standalone.- so right now im running an FMU, and later im gonna going to an extra injector set-up-

1.)i was wondering how HPtuners would react with the FMU or extra injectors-

2.)would the tune stay good as temperature and humidty change?

3.) does HP tuners come with a datalogger or do i have to spend ANOTHER $150 for a datalogger?

4.) anyone with experience doing this?

my stock fuel injection system uses multec 2 injectors but the inlet going into the injectors is unique and no one makes any upgrades for them so i cant replace injectors without dropping $1500+ on a custom MPFI set-up- beleive me if i could i would

yes they are multec2's but the design is unique going into them. unless RC would be interested in doing this- THERE IS SUCH A MARKET FOR THEM- plenty of f/i 4.3L's that have to run FMU's or choke up $1500+ for a custom MPFI

if they are willing to design the feed into the injector to be compatable with our stock spider injection then yes they could but...

They say they can modify pretty much any injector.

http://www.rceng.com/prices.htm

Racetronics also do these 44lb versions.

What size are your current ones ? 44lb should easily do over 500rwhp

Or some 60's

alot of people have been going to that edelbrock carb intake & having injector bungs installed...seems to work well for most.

Anywayz the great thing about hptuners with your 4.3 is you could always apply one of their 2 or 3 bar custom OS's and rid yourself of the maf making a custom intake system that much simpler not to mention the one 02 4.3 S10 file I have has the RTT http://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_editor_rtt_using.htm activated for all custom operating systems

And yes it comes with a professional quality scanner http://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_scanner.htm at no extra cost to you.
