what question should I ask my tuner?

Default what question should I ask my tuner?

I am going tomorrow to get my car dyno tuned, I know poeple who have taken their cars there and they all said good things. but my question is what questions should I ask him, is there anything I should ask him to do concering the tune? btw my car is an 01 A4 and I think he uses hp tunner.

Just make sure he knows your running the 125 shot and a 160* stat. If he knows what he's doing, the rest should be cake for him as far as fueling, timing, speed limiters, !DTC's, etc.

Tell him all your mods the octane fuel your runing if the car has any previus tuning hypertech included. He should be good to go if he knows that.

Hmmm. Guess I should take the sodium chloride from both the tuners I have worked with. Neither asked me questions; I had to tell them.

it did ok on the dyno. the cats are so clogged that it is starting to make a mild exhast(i know I spelled that wrong) leak. Monday the new cats go on. car runs great after tunning but I went to give a frind a ride and the tranny wouldnt kick down and there was like no power. I parked it watched a movie and drove it home slow right before my house I nailed it and it ran fine WTF? cats=problem

Ask him if he uses Vasoline.

Sounds like your tranny went into limp mode ... you may have problems with heat due to the clogged cats.
