Default tuning for n2o and a cut out

I am installing my 370 iron block this weekend and deciding on the exhaust. I want to do kooks long tubes with a 3 inch cut out. a friend of mine is going to tune for me. he says that if we tune for the juice w/ the cut out open then when the cut out is closed it will throw off the tune. I will be squeezing a 200 shot if that matters. what should I do with my timing? Does this sound right. let me here what you guys think.

I'd post up in the nitrous section, but most will recommend to pull a little timing and make sure your rev limiter is bumped back...

The difference with the cutout open vs. closed should be minimal. Usually, when you free up flow through the motor, it leans out. At the last dino day, this was evident when we removed the filter from several cars on the rollers. Each time flow improved, the mixture leaned out a little. So if you tune with the cutout open, the side effect might be you run a little richer with it closed. But, not enough to make it feel like you're driving a different car.
