Default How bad is it...

...to run the car for a while with a bad front knock sensor?

I'm throwing a PO327 code, front knock sensor low voltage. Have been since Saturday night.

I should be fine so long as I just poke around town and don't go WOT, right?

The knock sensor's function shouldn't come into play until the AFR and timing go up, right?

I'm trying to hold off long enough to obtain an LS6 intake so that I don't have to pull the intake twice.

Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated guys.

Not worried about performance, worried about holes in pistons.

Anybody else?

Will the back one pick up the slack?

knock sensors retard your timing when a knock or ping is sensed by them. No, just a loss of performance for ya.
