Serial data cluster/pcm ?'s

Serial data cluster/pcm ?'s I have got a 99' v6 s-10 that I am putting a v8 in with an 02 ls1 harness and computer. The gauges in the s-10 and the camaro are serial data w the exact same functions. After digging through all data at the shop for a while it all looks like it should work. Does anyone know if I am right and the two will talk to each other wo troubles. Thanks

I am sorry I don't have the answer to your question but it is a very interesting one so, bump for you. Being that the cluster is newer than 98 I would think that if you had the right serial data wire from the pcm routed to the cluster you would stand a good chance for success. I know for certain that on fbodies 99 and up are interchangeable.
