quick question about unplugging pcm

quick question about unplugging pcm ok the guy i bought my car from back in august did some pcm work on the car and i don't really know a lot about it, but anyways when he did he left it hanging under the dash and i can't get it to slide into its slot under the dash without unplugging it to turn it around...so my question is will it cause any problems if i unplug it to flip it over and then plug everything back in...he did some tuning on it and i don't want to lose any of it but i want to be able to put the panel back on and not have it hanging

it is a 4th gen like i said i don't know much about the pcm or tuning i j/ assumed thats what it was its under the dash on the passenger side

well i went and looked at it a little closer and it looks like it has clips to open it up but i didn't try because there isn't much light in my garage....the pcm is under the hood where its supposed to be but i do know there is a maf translator box under the hood where i can adjust my fuel and timing....it may be something along those lines? if i can find his number i'll try to call him and find out exactly what it is but thanks for the help guys
