Default Hp tuner advice

Got my Hp tuners and would like to know what to adjust for the trans. when the engine is tagging the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift. Search didn't net me an answer. Another question, when I start my car and at idle it seems to be running a little on the rich side. Where do I go to fine tune that in HP tuners? Sorry for the questions; but I am a newbie to HP tuners and have lots of questions .

a. how have you determined its running rich at idle?
2. WOT shift mph & shift RPM determine your shift points, both markers must be met.

No wide band yet, but at idle you can smell that it is very rich. Thanks for the help and I'll work on the trans tune.

As foff eluded to, a car can smell rich but not be. You really need a wideband to tell...without cats, my car smells rich, but I keep my idle around 15.0-ish:1 AFR verified with my wideband.

I personally use an LC-1, but there are so many avaiable that will work it isn't even funny. Just get one that is easy to set up and reasonably priced.
