Default big stuff 3 a good choice?

ok well i am setting up a twin gt35r turbo system to be run with a 427 ls1 in my 1991 Z. now im getting everything together and have yet to get a PCM and harness....i plan to first get the engine in and all set and then start working on the turbo system all while i will be driving the car by hopefully this summer (non turbo). my goals with the turbo system are to break the 1000HP mark and seeing as i would like to do everything once the correct way, should i just go ahead and get a Big Stuff 3 kit to run my motor? will this work fine on the motor while it is N/A? ive read SD is good for when in high boost and when the maf is maxed out but will it work fine on just the motor for the time being?

Big Stuff 3 gets rave reviews from people running big time setups, but isn't the complaint that your stock gauges won't work? If you are planning on making 1000 HP, I'm sure that is the least of your worries, but would be a hassle nonetheless.

No...those should work just fine. It is the stock gauges that usually don't work...in that case, I'd think the Big Stuff 3 would be a good choice.

John Meaniey wrote alot of the aftermarket fuel injection code before going out on his own. You won't go wrong.
