Default Wiring problems LS1 conversion over to an LT1 camaro

im tryin to convert an LS1 in to my 94 camaro i have the whole LS1 donor car so i have everything i need i wanna take the wiring out of the LS1 car. Now where the wires feed threw the fire wall near the break booster and the steering colum is that a plug or is that all one wiring unit from front to back, do i even need the wiring from inside the LS1 vehcile this wiring is a bitch to take out

Change the dash harness to save yourself the headaches of dealing with patching stuff together.

That big bundle near the booster is a continous run of wiring. It's all run through that square plastic piece and then hot-glued into place. You can unhook a couple of connectors under the dash, and then pull the wiring (and the square plastic part) into the engine bay. There's a 7mm bolt to take out.
