Any tips on A4 adjustments?
I'm going to tune a stock (except for catback) LS1 GTO this Friday withan A4 auto. Since I've never messed with an automatic, is there anything I can do to help the performance a little such as crisper shifting, etc?

I ended up changing the desired shift times to 0.250 seconds for all tables. Also, I removed about 50% of the torque management and that help some. I increased the TCC Duty Cycle and lock up is much faster than stock. I used a maximum of 100% and a minimum of 75%. I changed the shift pressures and force motor current tables to get firmer shifts. I did not go as aggressive as some people but, I like the performance of the transmission at this level.

I usually increase base shift pressures 5% for 1>2 and 2>3, reduce desired shift times 5~10% for 1>2 and 2>3, and remove 50% of the torque management for the upshifts. If there is no 3>4 TRQMGT settings, I usually add a little in to save the trans in the instance of a WOT 3>4 upshift (weak on autos). Make sure it's shifting where you want it to. If it's not, tweak the WOT RPM upshift tables to get it in line. Should be good from the factory though.
A few notes...
Work in percentages vs. stock. Setting a '98 A4 to .25 seconds for a desired shift time and setting an '04 GTO to .25 seconds might produce two different results.
Small changes are good. Don't jump the gun on shift pressures or desired shift times. 5% here and there until you get what you like.
Oh...and avoid going below .15~.18 seconds for desired shift times. Some have reported the gears do not like that.

Thanks guys.
Looking over the many parameters for the A4 is pretty intimidating. Since I'm only going to have an hour or so with the car I'm thinking it might be best to leave it alone since the guy who owns the car will be going out of town the following day. Wth my luck I'd mess something up.
