spikes in AFR at 5300-6200 what could be the problem??

Default spikes in AFR at 5300-6200 what could be the problem??

I have made a few test runs on my car, hp tuner and air fuel ratio, there is always some spikes in the AFR between 5300 and 6200 rpm what could be the problem ? i have no filter and speed density , could turbilance be the issue?

what do you mean by spikes? What injectors are you running with your combo? Can you post a log with said spikes?

if it's all up top then it's either plugs or injectors. post logs, that's the best way to figure out what's going on

Where is your Wideband located? Condensation build up coming into contact with a hot sensor with no exhaust flow could cause a crack in the ceramic pump cell. Had this happen recently. Normal closed loop fueling would read fine but WOT (pressure) would (read) spike lean. Just a thought.

the AFR bounces from 12.x to 18 about 3 or 4 times. in all 5 or 6 runs we made yesterday on 3rd gear

Valve float or a valvetrain resonance might send air through
but that ought to be a repeatable RPM point or range. Not a
random thing.

Before you go tearing your engine apart do something really really easy. Check the plugs and make sure the wires are on tight and not burnt. Missfires tend to cuase Lean spike in the AF charting.If you have a suspicous wire or 2 get a water spray bottle and hose down the wire while you are doing that make sure to look for arcing a tell tale sign of a failed boot or loose plug wire. Start simple.
