Default 98 SD - max line pressure?

I have started tuning LTFT's on my 98 SS. I noticed when I have the car in SD mode the tranny is shifting harder. Is the SD messing with my tranny line pressures? If so, what can I do to get around it? Thanks!

yes, you need to disable the max line pressure settings in your editor package...what tuning software are you using?

A fault protection reaction to unreliable airflow / load
data, full line full time until told different. If you plan
to put the MAF back then just tolerate it for the time.
If you have an itch to run SD-only then consider one
of the custom OSs that deal with these kinds of side
effects better. Perhaps the right kind of MIL settings
might relieve the tranny control. Dope out any codes
you may see.

Oh yeah, I am using HPtuners. Yeah I am gonna use the MAF when I am done. So I looked in the editor and under Shift pressure>Max pressure it has a value of 90. What value do I need to change that to (assuming the is the right value to change).

just go under tranny diagnostics & set the 3 max line pressure tables to disabled.
