he guys. thisis for a 96 z3 and it failed emmissions throwing that code.

it said catylitic system efficiency below threshold...

I've got an exhaust leak that is pretty loud...

could that have something t do with it. or are one of my cats failing and need to be replaced?

fix the exhaust leak, it is likely problem sovled

only if the leak is before the cat it may,,,may throw it... prob just a insufficant cat.ive seen em go at 38,ooo miles.
