Reset SES: how long do I have to drive before PCM will go through all it's cycles
Hi guys,
I live in the smog **** state of CA. I pulled an SES code (bad o2 sensor) and had it replaced. They reset the check engine light and said that I'll need to drive it around for about 20 miles for everything in the PCM to run it's cylce. Well I drove over 100 miles and only 2 of the 4 codes show up as complete on the OBD II (you need 3 to complete for smog in CA). Is there anything I should try? They suggested letting the car sit over night and have a full tank of gas, do I just need to keep driving or is there anything specific I need to do. Any help would be great. Thanks!
