Default How many with 98 2 bar sd hp tuner??

Just seeing how many out there with it and are having luck with it. Do you like it better than tuning with the maf? Just trying to get some insight on what it's going to be like. Thanks, Chris

frcefed98 is the only one I can think of right now. He frequents the fi section. Contact him, he is always very helpful.

I know Jeremy...I thought that he was running something different... I'm in the FI section 90% of the time too... KP already replied to the thread over there and basically said that he didn't really see too much of a difference compared to the MAF... Is it because of the resolution in the computer??

Running 2 bar with HPT, but its not HPT's 2 bar set up. Rick@synergy helped me set up a hacked 2 bar set up that works very well, and until HPT gets CC checkout on their website and the price comes down for their 2 bar OS for us 98 pukes....i'll stick to what I have.

Are you running the MPVI Pro Jer?? I'm not tracking as far as how you have yours set up... I know the MPVI Pro has the Boost enrich tables for SD... Do you have that on yours??

Nope still serial, and no boost enrich but my a/f tracks with boost very well for not having the resolution HPT's 2 bar does. I would like to get HPTs 2 bar but its just not a priority when what I have works as well as it does, a credit card check out on their webpage would speed up my full HPT conversion tho I WILL NOT USE PAYPAL.

San Diego huh, i'd take road trip to see Rick@synergy, it'd be worth it just to pick his brain on this subject. He is well versed when it comes to HPT and its offerings.

Well I'm actually going to have 12secSS help me out which is in Hollywood. He is very good at the tuning game and on the way I can log a little just for some fun...

I actually found the MPVI Pro in the for sale section pretty cheap. I figure that I'll try the 2 bar thing and if it doesn't work out then I'll just try tuning through MAF...

For everyone else, how much do you have to mess with your tables when you change humidity levels, climate, and elevation. For example when you take a road trip do you have to change your tune for where you're at that often???

I have setup a 98 2 bar in a friends turbo camaro. It's no different than the other 2 bar OS setups. As far as temp changes, etc yes it changes slightly but not enough IMO to require tunes for all the different conditions.
