Default Hesitation when downshifting (M6)

Car has an annoying hesitation when I downshift and try to match revs. For example, I'll be crusing in 4th going about 30-35 and nearing a sharp turn, take the car out of gear and try to blip the throttle to match revs. At this point it will hesitate for a split second then rev up (usually have to blip twice). Otherwise my throttle response is pretty good, running SD btw. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

DFCO ramp rates?
DFCO cuts in and out according to a ramp rate.
Or timing at that load point is a little low? Have you had your timing map done?

Timing has been done, but maybe needs to be corrected in that area?
