Default tuning for race gas

Since the search doesnt work I will just ask.

Can you run a ls1 on race gas with no cats? Will it kill the O2's?

Leaded fuel will kill any O2's

Unless your running a high compression motor or wanting to run a lot of timing, there is no advantage to running race gas.

The lots of timing on the stock motor will be tolerated without knock (to some reasonable end) with good gas but likely won't make any more power. You could lose a few as a matter o fact

Make sure its unleaded and you'll be fine. I know in my area you can find 99-101 octane unleaded gas at a couple select locations.

Yup, stick with Unleaded race fuel and you are good to go. I have used it in a few of my cars for a long time, "year or so" and still have good o2s..

Thanks, I put in 5 gallons yesterday and then filled up with 93. At $6.50 a gallon it could get expensive quick.
