Default Change 98 PCM to 99 or newer PCM??

I was wondering if it is possible to change the PCM from my 98 formula to a newer PCM... Harder to find programmers and other things for the 98. What would I need to do this??? Thanks for the help!

No it's not possible without putting in or splicing a new wiring harness. The pin layout changed for every year model.

repinning the pcm (moving the wires) is the way to do it. get the pinouts for both pcms. 9354896 or 12200411 would both be good choices.

The pin layout did not change for every year. You will also need someone who has EFI Live to reprogram the new pcm so the fuel gage will work.

On my buddies 98 we swapped the engine harness and the body harness to a 99+. Really wasn't that bad since we already had the interior out of the car.
