car feels like it hits a wall at 5k efilive tuned
ok so here is the thing. i have an 2000 ls1. i have full bolt ons including 28.8 injectoers off an 03 zo6. now i retuned my car using a 01 z28 tune cus it had the ls6 intake and 28.8 injectors stock. and the car runs nicely. no more running rich and having the pcm pulling 12% of fuel on me.
well before the 28.8s it would feel like it hits a wall and jus stopps pulling or moving at 5500rpms. after i just tuned it lastnight i took it out and drove it around made sure nothing was wrong with the tune. and i got on it ran it up to 5500 and same thing like hitting a wall. my rev limitor is stock and set at 6200rpms.
i have an autometer tachometer and its set to read 4 cylinder and it seems to be reading correctly when i run efilive dashboard.
anybody have any ideas?

I'd work off of the '00 tune. There's several major differences between the two years and their tunes. Load a stock '00 tune and adjust the fuel injector tables so they match an '01 tune (for the injectors only). Then, work on getting your fueling in line. You'll probably need ~6% more up top (in the MAF table) for the commanded to equal actual AFR (assuming no positive LTFTs).
That brick wall you're feeling is missing timing. Look at the timing curve around WOT for an '00 and an '01. You'll see a difference of 7* or more in some spots, which happens to be where you hit that brick wall.

sspdDon- it did the hit the brick wall before i even reflashed my with the 01 stock tune at the dragstrip only. now it does it all the damn time. but i thank you greatly because you are the first to help me out. i have a zo6 maf sensor and has been calibrated with a maf table off a zo6.
wait4me- this is in a 92 camaro so its definately a stand alone system. id be glad to send you the tune. how would i go about doing this?

i looked at them the other day when i had the valve cover off checking for bent pushrods and they looked ok. but the only way of checking them would be to put them on a vavle spring measurer thing.
man this is really pissing me off. lol.
think my autometer tach is to slow?

Have you checked you are getting atmospheric pressure under WOT?
Perhaps your intake filter is dirty or something?
A full log posted here might help diagnose the issue.

well today i put my street tires back on. and put a full tank of gas in it. and my car pulls to 6200rpms now. i dont know why a set of dr's and less than half a tank would cause this problem?
what would you like to see in my log? i usually monitor everything when i log. let me know what you want and ill post it up.

well folks thanks for all your help but i found the problem. when i installed my 28.8# injectors the injector control circuit wire on the number 7 injector got disconnected slightly causing me problems. so when i went to swap out to a polished fuel rail this weekend. i found the problem when i took the connector off the injector. a little wiring repair and man o man it feels good having all 8 cylinders at 6200rpms
