Default PE Enable

On my 98 and 99 corvettes the PE table is almost always enabled. There appears to be 2 triggers on the PE table, map pressure and TPS. My Map is set to 15KPA, which is all the time, and TPS is: 0-1200RPM=45%, 16-2400=23%, and all above are 19%. This just doesnt make sense to me. Should I increase the RPM to above 3k or raise map? It cant be hurting anything but I am going to have to scale the VE down a lot since the PE is a multiplier. Any info would be great!

These are just delay's...most stock calibrations you'd ALSO need to be above 65% tps up until around 3000 rpms to enable power enrichment mode.

That's a bit aggressive. Download a stock tune and you'll see it was originally 64% up to 2800RPM before falling to 26% at 4400RPM.

Ever car is different. But personally, I like to set NA cars up with a ~50% enable down low and 20~25% up high....usually following the trend of the stock settings.

PE enable is just like the auto trans settings at WOT. You have 2 triggers (kPa and TPS in this case instead of MPH and RPM). Turn one on all of the time (e.g. kPa enable @ 15), then all you have to do is wait for the 2nd trigger.

Both cars are forced induction, do you think this matters? The actual stcok file looked the same. I see no need in being in PE all the time like that. I practically have to let off the throttle when cruising to get out of PE.

What do you mean delays? Am I missing something? The enable tables I would think would be the actual triggers. I will post a screeshot real quick and see what you all think.
