Exclamation Mounting wideband on stock exhaust?

I am looking at the exhaust on both sides of my 2002 Camaro and don't see much room on either side.

I know the wideband has to be mounted before my cat and after the manifold. But it looks impossible unless I buy an aftermarket exhaust.

Any tips?

Pictures if you have any would be nice.

Thanks.

Get longtubes, mounting the wideband on the stock manifolds will cause nothing but headaches.

well I'm thinking of doing Twin Turbo setup so I've kinda kept away from exhausts for now since it will all be custom fabricated.

I was thinking of doing a Cat delete with straight pipes in place of the cats with the front O2 bungs there and the wideband O2 mounted as well.

Is this just for tuning or is it more of a permanent install? If it's just for tuning, force the car into open loop and use the stock B1S1 location. While in open loop, there's no feed back from the stock NBO2's. You'll just have to shut off the codes since it'll be unplugged...

Kinda both I guess, I will use it on a daily basis until I get twin turbos eventually.

I am gonna go to the exhaust shop tomorrow and see if they will rig up some pipes with flanges and O2 bungs for the front O2s and Wideband bung.

what kind of wideband is it?? You can mount it in the stock location on the passenger side and feed the narrow band output to the pcm so it doesn't freak out...I did it on mine and it works fine...

Its the Bosch with the LM1 kit. I'm just gonna see how much the exhaust company will charge for the 2 small pipes with flanges. If its too much then I'll do what you guys are suggesting.

i think mine is accurate in b1s2 spot. it can't be much worse than a wb at the exhaust tips.

Question

Pictures of my setup uploaded, where do you guys think I should install wideband bungs.

I am most worried about life of the wideband and accurate AFR readings.

Thanks for the help.
