Default disabling air bag lights?

I pulled the airbags and for obvious reasons the air bag light is now on...anyone know the best way to turn it off or which wire I can cut get rid of it? The air bag module is still in place.

On a C5 you can take the cluster display out and remove the bulb.
That's a lot of work.

black marker over light

or black tape behind the gauge cluster

Since this doesn't deal w/performance I'm not aware of any tuning packages that can remove this from the BCM ... and I doubt any would offer this as it'd be a huge liability

Well i already had my dash out so, all i did was take out the BCM and took out the light bulb from the cluster...

On my 94 Z it only took me about 15mins to get the whole gauge cluster out to start the beginning of my dash removal.. Shouldnt take much time for you i wouldnt think, the only hard part is not cracking that dash pad..
