Default Hypertech Questions

I just recently purchased a hypertech power programmer 3 for my 98 formula. The car has 90k miles and is my daily driver. I'm running long tubes, off-road y-pipe, cat-back, k&n FIPK and shift kit. I'm looking for some performance but longevity is still important.

1. Is it safe to raise the rev limiter, if so then by how much?

2. What are some good shift points?

3. I have a mechanical shift kit, so should I leave the shift firmness alone? The book says to leave the firmness alone but I want to know what you guys think.

1) On stock valvetrain why risk it
2) You decide, you're the one driving
3) Again, personal preference, do you feel that it shifts snappy enough? More line pressure = more wear and tear

If you already have a shift kit installed and you use the one on the hpp3 then the only thing your are going to end up with is needing a new tranny.
