can i keep the 93 tranny when switching to a 94 pcm? my buddy has a 93 lt1 with the 700r4 he wants to switch it to a 94-95 pcm so it can be tuned, we have the connectors for the pcm , i was just gonna splice his exisitng harness to match, the only thing is the transmission has a detent cable instead of being electronicly controlled, it still has connections on it just not as many, what can be done to keep the transmission as it is already built up.
