Default Whats the biggest cam you have run with a stock tune ?
Just curious. I ran a 224/228 in my M6 on the stock tune and didnt mind that at all, but now have an vert with an auto. How big could I go before a tune was necessary ? Looking for some real world experience, not someone thats gonna tell me to just get it tuned.

I ran my 231/237 112 tsp cam in my A4 with the stock tune for about a month before i got tunned...ran like crap but it started & held an idle with a bit of throttle set screw adjustment.

i put in a z06 cam and a ls6 intake and it drove around fine, but more than 30% throttle knocked and pulled so much timing the car actually lost .3 and 3mph.
tuning is NOT optional when changing anything that affects airflow.
