Default weiand intake/tuning problem

Okay so I had a weiand intake put in. When we went to dyno tune it showed that it was leanned all the way out and dumping fuel. I was told that there is a vaccum leak from the ntake and that this is common with these intakes becuase of the o rings they usue difer from th stock ls6 style. Im not sure where the air is getting in. Could it have something do do with my map? Maybe I need to doube gasket? Or should i just swap this one out and put a ls6 stocker in? Please help....I cant drive or tune my car.....i really like this intake...any one else have this problem or can offer advise with this intake>?

Default

Had a similar problem a while back. Yes those gaskets have a lot to be desired.
However I found that Fel-Pro make a set that has the o-ring molded in as well, vs the plain flat gasket material that Weiand sends with the intake.

Here is the Fel-Pro P/n 1312-3 Get with Young@ Byunspeed a sponsor, he sells them on his site.

I have not tried them myself, but like I said they look much better than the standard cut one's.
