Default Crane/Vinci Tuner, now what???

I went to test 'n tune last night with my new tuner. Long story short--my car is now almost 1/2 sec slower with the tune. I ran 12.54 @ 112 on my baseline pass and after multiple passes with the tune I was running 12.97-13.02 @ 108. I even went back to my original tune and I still only ran 12.9X-13.02 @ 108. What the f@#$!! Help me out guys, what went wrong?

sounds like something else went wrong, seeing as you went back to stock tune and didn't improve. how's the car running? still smooth? choppy now?

Car is running smooth. Idle is fine. Is it possible that the plugs got fouled up?
I still have the original factory plugs in. My car has 50K on it.

hard to say. doesn't sound like it would be the plugs.

Could it still be learning its new parameters. My car doesn't straighten out for about a week after I have it tuned. I'm probally wrong. I had their tuner and if I had a problem I always gave Joe a call at Vince.

i had their tuner and loved it...then got a big cam and a "real" tune...what time of the day did your first run take place and then your second and third...did everyone else times go down or just yours?

i went to 411 in knoxville a few weeks ago and everyone their ran their best run on the first run(unless they missed a shift or had a prob) the track just slowed down because of the heat and other factors...

Cars ran faster because the outside temps went down--test 'n tune is at night 6-10. Something is definitely wrong with car now. It was either the tuner or some incredible coincident.
