Default Please help... get gears or get it tuned?

I have a 99 TA with Spec 4f clutch ..LTs ...ORY... Hooker Catback ...LID... MSD wires...volt booster..no emission eqpt. and no a/c and some other little things.

it was tuned using a street tune by the previous owner with these mods. he actually had true duals. i replaced it with the currant exhaust set up.

So i am wondering if i would benifit more from a dyno tune by a good shop, or should i install a set of 4.10s? what do you guys think?

i have an extra $500 to play with that fell in my lap that my wife doesn't know about

i would honestly look at getting a good tune on it. dyno tune and re-tune street. shouldn't cost you $500 for it either...around 350-400.

u sure you want to go to 4.10's? you drive it much? i got 3.73's and its pulls like a b**** ; and i get 25MPG on the highway and 17 around town.

going to 3.42's and hopefully she will spool quicker and get better highway mileage...around town will prolly go down tho

this is not my DD i've got a couple cars. This only gets driven to take off the t-tops and stomp the gas. i'm not worried about gas or driveability.
