I was wondering if there is way to possibly switch between two tunes. The reason I am asking is have Hp tuners and Futral is tuning my car with three diff. tunes on my laptop, a Na, 200 shot, and 300 shot tune. The car is a street car and I would like to cruise around on the NA tune and if need be just flip a toggle switch and have my 200 shot tune loaded, with out the use of a my laptop. Is this possible and if so how difficult is it to setup.

I have thought about this and wondered if you couldnt hook up a pcm for each tune and then just wire them up to a control panel. Whichever tune you want just click on that pcm. Prolly won't work though as to many connections

Yea, i thought so. The only reason I was thinking maybe there was a chance is because my friend has a duramax with a custom tuned factory PCM, not a chip or programmer and he can flip a toggle switch between tunes.

You can switch your tune with EFI Live with custom OS. I can switch between my na tune and nitrous tune.

you can do that with HPT also, but he means on the fly.

Yep, I meant on the fly. But how long does it take to switch between tunes if you already have them saved in HPT?

My HPT takes ~22 seconds to flash in a tune.

are you sure you cant do that with hptuners??? how does the tow/haul mode work on a truck then???

EFILives is on the fly. With the COS5, you can flip a switch and it activates a couple multiplier tables in the tune for fuel and spark. Kind of like what they use for the valet mode

Tow/haul mode is only trans settings.

Like said, its only the tranny settings that are switched with the trucks. That involves a whole different OS.

Thats interesting that EFI can act as a flip chip.
