tsp recently installed prc stage 1's and torquer 3 and im throwin p0106. they said to clean the maf sensor and see what happens. code went away for about 15 miles and came back. wont idle at all. do i need to get retuned or what? thanks. its an 02 TA.

The PCM has predicted values for the MAP sensor based on TP and RPM. The PCM will then compare the predicted value to the actual value. DTC P0106 is set when the actual value is not within the predicted range. Which tuning software is being used? In EFILive, you will want to go to {C3003} Predicted MAP Max and raise the values in the idle region.

i dont know which software is being used. texas speed did all the tuning.i understand what you are saying but i am not a tuner.so do i need to get it retuned? thanks.

Although this is most likely the problem, it could be something else. I would first check all of the vacuum hoses and make sure none of them are disconnected or damaged. If that checks out, check for vacuum leaks at the throttle body and intake manifold.

thanks for the help. i checked everything before i got it scanned and checked again this morning when i read your post but couldnt find anything. so i just sent the pcm back to texas speed.hopefully they'll figure it out. thanks again
