Default Failed Emission: "Not Ready"

Car wouldn't pass OBDII testing using ALDL. I cancelled test and drove off rather than go through some hack beating on my clutch.

ANyway, car is in OL. What do I have to do to get car to pass emissions with ALDL testing only.

How can I confirm car will pass on next visit?

Have you recently had codes cleared or your battery disconnected? This will cause a not ready to be set in the computer while it is in the process of relearning.

If that's the case, all you really need to do is drive the car for a couple cycles.

No, haven't done much of anything but drive it lately. I am assuming issues is related to disable engine diagnostics and/or OL.

Probly deleted too much or the wrong things.I delete the MAF and leave everything else reading. No problems here on passing the plug in test. If I deleted more the cars will fail.

I completely missed you mentioning OL before. I think you're on the right track.
Are you purposely running OL all the time? How long had the car been running before it was tested?

Using the scantool, read the readiness tests, they should tell you what is "not ready".

Then do a search here. ZLKilla has posted all the DTCs to set (though I think EVAP was missed), and I recently had a thread on how to do it with HP or Edit. Hopefully you have a tuning program?

That is, if you want to set you tune up so that is passes no matter what.
