Default 383 stroker, high idle?

I have a 02 ws-6 with a Cartek built 383 stroker. The car Idles @ 1100-1200 Rpm. Is this a bit high? I was thinking more @ 700-800rpm. Also, when cruising in 4th or above and with the rpms @ 2K, I let off the throttle and the car still revs @ the current rpm it was in while cruising, I have to down shift too fix the problem or rev the engine too @ 6000. Any help would be great. Also, it has a custom groun Cartek cam: 230,234-.600 lift @ 113 LSA. Thanks.

Yes that is high. What tuning software/ options do you have? Those discrpancies can be resolved.

The car was tuned by Cartek on the factory ECM. I have no software to do it. There is a local speed shop that I may take it too. Thanks. Also, my cam is a 230,234-.600 lift @ 113LSA, what do these numbers mean? What makes an engine "cam" hard, the LSA or the duration numbers? Does a 112 LSA "lope" more than a 115 LSA? Thanks for the help.
