Anyone use a Wait4me Mail order tune?
Im really interested in sending out my ecu to wait4me, and was wondering what peoples experiance is with the mail order tune. Just getting the speedo corrected, rear 02's deleted, and egr deleted its probably worth the price, but performance wise, how do you guys like it? he wont be able to push the car to its limits, but the mail order tune is just a temp solution untill i get heads and cam, and then have it actually dyno tuned. Thanks, Chris

I spoke to them about working on my harness for an LS1 conversion, you really can't beat the price but I don't know anyone that has had first hand experience with their tunning.

I did a Google type search on Wait4Me a while back. It was mostly truck people. But out of the hundreds of posts and responses. Only one person was not imediately happy, but was made happy pretty quickly. I plan on using him for my tune un the very near future.

I used them for my swap. They we're good to deal with and I would use them again. I have'nt started the car yet but I'm not expecting any problems. Sometimes they are busy so it takes some time to get stuff or questions reply'd to.

My first tune was with Jesse. Nothing bad to say about the tune, my next one is going to be this weekend by another tuner. Added cam & heads, needed tune - getting a street tune before vehicle pick-up Sunday.

I have one of his tunes in my H/C/"yadda yadda" car. I only had a chance to run the car for a few miles, and that was with headers only. I plan to pick up my car from the speed shop where the exhaust was installed in about 5 hours. Shop owner said it was still running pretty rough post exhaust install. I need to pull and delete codes and then drive it more before I can really comment on the tune. I do not really expect this tune to be spectacular considering my 226/230 111lsa cam. I just wanted a tune to get me in the ballpark, delete some codes, and adjust for my bigger injectors. I will try to post up how the tune ends up working for me.
At the least, if you do not have a “heavily” modded vehicle, I think Wait4me probably is a terrific value.

I plan on making the trip out to him later this summer (hopefully) to have him street tune my car. It's a hit and miss when it comes to mail order tuning, especially if you have a H/C'd car as the poster above me.
