Default rpm tach not working....

ok, the pan had to cracks in it, so we dug in the bottom of the car... removing the tranny and the motor mounts then jacking the car up to its highest possible point... that damn oil pan is a son of a b**ch.... but anyways, we get it all back together and fire her up and the rpm tach is not working, i did remove the intake manifold, but i check all the plugs twice and three times today.... the oil pressure gauge came up, and was working fine for a couple of minutes and then it shot over past 80 and stayed it did come back over to the normal 70ish for a little bit then went back over and stayed.... im thinking maybe something got crushed back there, but what could it possibly be?
