Turn the key on and then crank the engine till it dies leave the key in the run position after the motor dies. The security light will come on and go back and forth between that and the battery light for ten minutes after ten minutes the security light will go off
Turn the key off for three seconds and then just turn to crank long enough for the starter to spin for a second. Wait ten minutes again till the secuirty light goes off.
Follow the above method for a third time this is a 30 minute procedure. This time after the lamp goes off for the last time turn the key off for three seconds and then crank the motor. It will start and run.
But both trucks have to be 2001. If the pcm you ordered is newer or older it still willnot start due to differences in the passlock encryption codes. But as wait for me stated there may be a lot of differences in gears, tire size etc that will cause speedometer error and shift problems.
