99 Camaro wont stay running .... ????
I have a 99 v6 aut camaro and it will run for about 5 minutes then when it reaches normal operating temp it shuts off. Then if I let it cool all the way down, it will crank up again...
I am getting a CEL but my code scanner wont read the car ????
I already replaced all of the coils and the ignition module but that's not it?
Any idea on what it could be?
BTW: it's not a fuel pump issue because I can hear the pump and it's got plenty of pressure at the bleeder valves.
I'm thinking ECM but pretty clueless.
Any help or input is apreciated.

If the code scanner isn't working, that's quite suspect. First, check for power at the diagnostic port (+12V on pin 16, Ground on pin 4 and pin 5). If you don't have voltage there, check your fuses, one of them that supplies power to the DLC is probably blown. If you do have voltage, then the PCM is suspect.

Ok we did that and checked the fuse and one was blown. Now it will read codes but it still goes kaput after it warms up.
Only codes showing are "pending 02 sensor" codes

In many cases, bad O2 sensors, or bad wiring to the O2 sensors will cause it to run fine when it's cold (PCM is in open loop, not monitoring the O2 sensors), then run rough, or not at all when it's warmed up (PCM is in closed loop, monitoring the sensors).

I usually get people to check their cig lighter sockets for power (well on f-bods and C5s at least, dunno about other vehicles) since they share the same circuit and people dont need a meter to check it there.
just trying to be helpful
