how hard would it be to tune a 98 computer for this set-up. i know that 98 computers have less tuning options in them , but i am unsure on what. i let vengeance do all my tuning. just curious before i buy all this stuff

victor jr
fast 90mm
268/276/110+4 .727/.714

If your gonna do that motor swap, i woudnt even consider running the 98 PCM, swap in the newer PCM you wont regret it!

Talk to Vengeance about your options, im sure they'd like to have some input on how to go about tuning your combination

+1 I just did the 98 to 02 swap on mine took @ 3 hrs, but I extended quite a bit more wires to make it look nicer.

im assuming if it only took 3 hrs you did not do a tank swap or change the gauge cluster.
so did you find a way around the fuel sending unit or are you not getting no fuel tank readings? also did you change out your gauge cluster?

same here. I am having some trouble trying to license it to tune it since it has no serial#. I will be making a cover for the wiring though. just do the swap.

If you are going to "spin it to the moon" I'd suggest a heavilly ported Vic Jr. and 2"+ primaries. I've got a solid roller and was hoping to spin it to 7500 but it made peak power at 6300 with a ported fast and FLP headers
I know it left a lot on the table having peak power that low
