Best guess is an intake or exhaust leak on that side incorrectly reading higher o2 at the sensor (and dumping in more fuel), or a bad o2 sensor, or burned o2 wires from exhaust.

Swap O2's and see if the problem changes sides. To check for intake leaks, with the car running carefully spray a little carb cleaner around the intake to see if the idle rises/stumbles.

Thanks, I'll try that. Anyone else have any other theories or solutions? I'm gonna be spraying and need to get this worked out before.

For it to be that whacked and only on a single side
says O2 sensor or a total misfire on at least one
cylinder blowing a lot of air into the pipe. Look at
the sensor voltage for signs of life, stuck at dead
zero or at approx 450mV indicates a fault, bouncing
but very low voltage indicates mixture or sensed-
mixture (e.g. air shoot-through) problems.

Happened to me. It was a mal-functioning oxygen sensor.

Thanks, everyone. It's intermittent, I guess I'll be getting a sensor for back up.
