One for the PCM and one for the TCM?

Is this true?


Also does anyone have any trans tuning for a 3200 stall/trang go in a 06
I'd like to look at that file...

Most companies Im aware of only charge you a single license for both pcm & tcm.

Must have been a V1 cable. A V2 will have an open tranny slot for every PCM that is licensed to it.

No its a V2,7.4 too....
SO your saying if it is V2 which it is then the pcm liscense just saw the tcm and added it to that license for 1 total license?

Your right, it shouldn't I missed that part. With a V2 you should have been able to license the TCM to any of the open slots from any of the licensed PCM's on the cable. Are you sure it used 2 slots on the cable?

Yes, plug your V2 cable in to your usb and click on the help button in the top tool bar. Then click on Flashscan V2 VIN licensing and see where the licences are attached to. It will license the TCM, but it should have licensed it to one of the open TCM license slots.

I just found some info,It looks like 1 license will do both...
U only use 1 VIN and it stores like u said in a unused slot....

It should need to be liscensed, however it just uses a TCM license slot, not an ecm one.

Should have only used 1 PCM license ($100). Every time you licenses 1 PCM, you create an open TCM slot (free), then any TCM can be licensed to the TCM slot. So if you you have licensed 4 PCM to the cable, then there will be 4 open TCM slots created that ANY TCM's can be licensed to. So in short, you should have only use 1 PCM license ($100) and 1 TCM license (free)
