i have a hypertech max energy chip. It just changes shift points/firmness. You do it all on your computer then you plug it into the cars computer. Where exactly is the carss computer. i dont no where to plug it into

on LS1 fbodies its under the hood on the pass side.

What do the instructions say to do? It probably plugs into the OBD-II port. If not you need to unplug the PCM from the harness and then plug it into that.

there are no intstructions. it just has acrazy looking plug that is suppose to plug into the cars computer

On LS1's last I knew (long time ago) the Hypertechs plugged into the OBDII port. its under the dash, right next to the steering column.
