Default Bouncing off rev limiter help!!!!

Well here is the problem. I recently had the auto tran rebuilt on my trans am and now when i am at wide open throttle it bounces off the rev limiter like crazy!!!! Only in the higher gears. They installed a nine clutch pack and shift kit, would this have anything to do with it? Would a WOT dyno tune fix this problem. I had lot's of problems with the people that did it, had to take it back 4 or 5 times cause they couldn't get it right. And the transmission is still under warranty. I have heard that it may be line pressure but how in the hell is this fixed? Any one have this problem? And how did you fix it. I have also heard that our transmissions are electronically controlled?!? Any truth to that? Someone help please!!!

What year is your TA? If its after 93 then yes its electronically controlled. It could be a tune issue, but if your car is unmodified then its probably an issue with the trans. Sounds like you need to take it back to them again, unfortunately. The 9 clutch clutch pack is an upgrade. That wouldnt be causing whats happening. Could be line pressure. could be an internal pressure leak. Could be an electronic problem outside of the trans. Its awfully hard to saw without properly diagnosing it. Could be a bunch of things.

if its been tuned or anything theres 2 tables to look at one is in your transmission tune and the other is in the fuel cutt off the stock tach is off by 200 rpms. for example if redline is set to 6700 u want the transmission to shift liek 6400-6500rpms so u dont hit the rev limiter

^^^ yup I had to mess around with mine. But this sounds more like the problem is the trans.
