Default speed density tune with 2 dtCs

Hey guys i have a question i have 2 codes p0102 and p0106 On is low frequency for the maf and the othere is a map sensor system code. Can i turn these off so that the car will not have the dtc in the pcm so i can pass emissions or will this cause a problem with the running of the car?

what all is done to the car? you could probably get a maf for the price of a speed density tune

I have a maf and i have the tune done already. I just have to see if i can turn these codes off so i can make it thru emissions. The car has the speed density tune in it runs drives fine but cant pass emissinos with codes in the pcm. I have a magna charger on the car.

Problem is the computer has to see that MAF failure in order to go into speed density, so no, you cant clear those maf codes and stay in speed density

Are the codes all they check for your emissions in your area, or do they also run a sniffer on it?

You shouldn't have a MAP code. You'll have to check that out. With the P0102 set to non-emissions and the DIC turned off it should pass emissions no problem. Here in Massachusetts they are very strict and all our SD cars have passed with that 1 code.

Theres a table for adjusting the fail parameters for the MAP. P0106 that is.
Is this a 2 bar OS?

Yes all they check is codes no sniffer. And Yes its a 2 bar speed density tune. So your saying with the maf code I "Should" be able to pass? You can pass down in mass with that code in there?

The maf code will have to be set to no SES, but the code still has to pop in order to go into SD.

In GA, as long as there is no SES and the readiness tests set you are good to go. I can't speak to the specifics of your state.
