Default The Worst Thing EVER

Ok. I'm sitting in the car, flashing the PCM with the newest version of my attempts to tune it. Write entire in HPTuners is almost complete, when my laptop goes completely dead. IDK how it happened or why there was no battery indication or anything - ****, I had it plugged into a power inverter! Anyway, it went dead in the middle of the write. The laptop's acting fried, won't boot up for me but that's the easy part. What do I do about the PCM? I can get my gf's laptop setup with the HPTuners stuff pretty easy - I think - and hopefully go from there, but is there some sort of safety mechanism for the PCM or am I screwed on driving it until I can get the new computer thing goin on?

Also DONT use write entire each time you make a adjustment, use write calibration for the small changes.

I think you also need to flash the calibration of the bin file that was in the car already. Hopefully you have it on a disc or another computer somewhere. I don't know if that is 100% required or more of a HPT recommendation. Good luck man.
