Default HP tuner: SD tune questions

Hi,
I have about 1.5 year old HP tuner, the one that first released with wideband reading.
Do y'all know if this HP tuner can read and write SD tune files?

Also, I got an SD tune file from a good friend and his tune is for auto tranny. I got manual tranny. Would just copy all the tables over to my base tune do the trick to convert from auto to manual?

Thanks so much in advance!!!
-Mike

All you really have to do is set the MAF Fail Freq to 0 and you're basically running SD. You can also disconnect the MAF sensor and it will have the same affect.

Then tune your VE table so that there is no knock retard.... etc. etc.

Yes any of our versions of hardware or software can be used for SD tuning. SD is just a mode the computer enters when the maf fails.
